OK here is the question..it may sound dumb but there is a point to it.

Before I get my trailer and truck letterd I want to decide on a name first.

I live in a small town so I want to use my last name. Right now I go by Goodman Lawn Care.

For the services I offer is this the right name.

    I will offer:

    Basic Lawn Mowing
    Spring Cleanup
    Fall Cleanup
    Hedge Trimming
    Mulch and Bed Install
As well as some other basic landscape installs.

I have thought about the following names

Goodman Lawn and Landscape (this is the one im thinking. covers everything and can be growin into)

    Goodman Landscape

    Goodman Lawn Maintenence

    Any Input?

The way I think of it is, lawn care = fert and weed control plus mowing and stuff,
Lawn Maint means just keeping it mowed and trimmed, no fert and stuff
and landscaping is of course all the above and plantings, mulching and layouts designs.
Thats my take on it, but others may say different.

Lol! I'd like to see that.

I vote for Goodman Lawn and Landscaping though, that happens to be my company name and it covers exactly what we do.

thanks guys. i think im going with the Goodman Lawn and Landscape. This way it covers all I do. I figure its better to turn down jobs on wall and patio installs then to not get the chance to do mulch and bed installs.

    I think that sounds good.

Goodman Lawn Care and Landscaping would cover a broader area of your services rather than just matienence, which is too basic I believe. Your the owner, whatever you choose should fit.

Brock, how about some of these?

    Goodman Landscapes

    BG Landscapes

B (the first letter of your middle name here) G Landscapes.

(for example, my middle name starts with R, so if I wanted to do that, mine would be MRO Landscapes.
