Just curious. I haven't really looked at them too much, but I am thinking about demo'ing one in the next few weeks. Just would like to know what to expect. What engines are available on them? 25 Kaw and 27 Kohler?

As you know I demoed a 24 Honda on the Super Z. It was way underpowered for what it is asked to do. It works but takes a while to wind up. I didn't even ask a price for the current models but I did ask the dealer to find out how much the Kohler 28EFI is gonna be. They are cutting them loose in August. I am thinkin around 10K. Dunno fur sure.
Sorry for little help, its all I know.

Not sure if I want to do the EFI thing again :( Thanks for the reply just the same. Didn't realize a Honda was an engine choice on them.

ive had my 27 kohler 60" super z for about a month now. i paid 8150 plus tax, the exmark i demoed with the same eng and deck was priced the same. the sus. seat was standard and the exmark was a 600 option. the super had far more options and was alot smoother in my opinion.

I have an EPS Lazer right now. I am happy with the mower itself, but the EFI Kohler has been giving me some problems. In all fairness, I have not given the dealer a chance to fix the problem, and maybe they could have back running like it should in no time.

The problem is, we have no Exmark dealers in the area. The closest one, driving time for me is about 45 minutes away. They prefer to sell Kubotas over the Exmark, so I left that dealer out of my selection process. There are a couple newer dealers about an equal drive, but they are brand new and their bread and butter is repairing a 21" Snapper, so they were left out. I ended up buying the EPS from a dealer about an hour away, but traffic that way is wicked.

Just for comparison, we have a Hustler dealer right up the road, about a 20 minute drive even with the road construction that's going on right now. And, I am over in that area quite frequently. So for future mower purchases, this may be something I look at.

Had my Super Z 60' 25 Kaw for a month. Love it. You will love the Kaw motor. I paid 7600 before tax. First of this month, Hustler dropped their price 400 dollars from 8000 on the Super Z. Don't let a dealer tell you different cause that is Hustlers price.

So $7600 is MSPR? Not bad. Seems like when I got a price last year, one dealer was $8000 and the other was $7800, so that old $8000 figure jives. I got about 850 bucks knocked off the EPS, that would be nice if a dealer could do that on one of these :D For less than $7000, I might take two :p

MSRP for the 27 kohler 60 super z is $9595 and the same mower with a 25 kaw is about $100 cheaper.

So what's up with the $7600 and $8000 prices. Just what dealers should sell them for? I'm confused
