Rent or buy? Renting will greatly depend on area. We put up a 40x65' pole barn, 2 service doors, 5 windows, 1 Electric roll up door, 1 sliding door, 100 amp service, insulated, osb wallboard, full concrete floor, and all electrical with 1/2 acre lot for $42000. I love the shop, but 5 years later I wish we had more room, both inside and out.

This is a 30 x 36 with a 16ft door and an 10 ft door. Got about 20,000 in it. I'm glad I didn't go any smaller. Tax wise is works out great too.

I have just about what you are talking about, maybe a bit bigger and pay $650 a month.

I've got a 24x36 rental unit. It has 2 10' doors and 4 lights in it. No electrical outlets. I have to run power off the lights for blade grinder, compressor, etc. It comes with 3 parking pads about 30 feet deep. It now costs $470 a month. THat is $5600 a year in overhead that I'm sure customers don't know (or don't care) about. Where I live it is ILLEGAL to park trailers & keep equipment at residence. ALthough I know there are a lot of smaller LCO's getting away with it here.

Got a 13x50 storage unit. Big enough for the truck and trailer, plus extra stuff along the side and in back. Pay $195/mo.
