I wanted to purchase a scag wildcat 52" zero turn, but I am not for sure, because this will be my first zero turn. I have a 48" scag hydro walk behind, but the cut wasn't that good, I had to go over the cut twice every time last year. I didn't have many mechanical problems with the scag, but I need to know what is the best commercial riders out there, name four or five if you could. I wouldn't mind getting a john deere, gravely, or toro either, but I need some opinions. What are your top five and why?

I haven't heard of any problems with the new Scag decks (velocity), but put Toro, Exmark, and John Deere on you list of demo's. I cant stress enough you need to demo several brands to see what works best for you and dealer support is very important.

Only you can answer that question. All commercial mower brands have there pro's and con's. You have to demo and find the one that is right for you.
