Obviously you've never been on a dixie chopper or you wouldn't make this comment. A dixie chopper is the machine that all other ztr's is compared to. This is not bragging, just fact. There is currently no other mid mount ztr that will out mow a dixie chopper flatlander. Dixies are not perfect by any means, but they can flat out out mow any other mower currently in production. Rats, are you saying you never watched Home Improvement when it was on? If you did and saw the mower with the Jet Engine, you saw a Dixie Chopper. I took a picture of it when I was on the DC factory tour and it's on my website. There are 15 dealers in New Jersey so there has to be a dealer not to far away from you. I've tried out several differant brands and they are the only ones I have used that don't even have any type of steering dampener on them and are so easy to operate and work on if you ever have to. Go check one out and you will be able to see what we are crowing about. :D

Hey guys I'm in Jersey too and your right, you don't see to many Dixies around here. I've only see them a coupple times. Couple weeks ago I saw a company cutting the baseball fields in town with them and I was amazed at how fast they where going and the stripes where real nice too. Mostly only see Scags, Exmarks, Bobcats around here. I only know of one Dixie dealer in Jersey and they're 1.5 hours away right near LBI.

I don't think New Jersey is to big of a state and as I said, there are 15 dealers there. Go to the DC site and click on dealer locator to see all the listings if your interested. I'm not sure how other manufactures build their mowers, but I was amazed when I took the DC tour to see that they are still hand assembled there. Sort of like a Rolls Royce. :D

  9. Hey guys, where I am located in southern middle TN, the lawn care companies run mostly Ferris, Woods, Grasshoppers and Kees. I'm the only guy here running a Dixie. My closest dealer is 1.5 hrs away. Haven't had to go back to the dealer yet, and I got my DC in April. It is the most reliable mower I have owned. I mow part time so I need a good dependable mower to keep my customers happy. I get asked all the time how I like my Dixie and I tell who ever ask that "I Love it". It stripes better than any mower around here, and I'm not just saying that because it is mine. I get lots of compliments on how the lawns I mow look.

My next mower will be another Dixie Chopper.
