What is the cheapest pond you have ever built?

    My wife spent about 2 hours building this in ground bird bath this morning. Cost. Zero dollars. The liner was left over from the tank pond and we had the rest of the stuff. Simple but it dose it's job and I thought it was worth posting. She puts fresh water in all of her bird baths twice a day so the water in this wont have time to grow mosquitoes. I really haven't seen near as many this year. We had that drought and now I think this heat wave vaporizes them. LOL

    Here is the cheapest pond ever. This was our first pond...we charged them $500 for the pond and plantings. It makes me laugh when I see it.

    Cgland, is that one of those plastic tubs buried in the ground, or did you use a flexible liner?

    It's a preformed plastic tub.
