    Hello All,

I have a machine that I am going to be trading in and I think the dealer is screwing me over! He wants to give me a measly $900 for it and I think thats way to low. I was thinking about $1100-1500 for it. What would you expect to recive as trade-in value?

    2000 BOBCAT ZT200 with a 52" deck
    22HP Kohler Engine
    3524.1 Hours
Needs new tires are the way around
    Needs PTO belt
The deck arm lever is missing

The engine on the machine is the original engine and runs very well. Serviced regulary. It has only seen myself and my dad as operators. My dad is the original owner. Everything works as it should!

    Thanks for the help!

Wow, with that many hours, and needing some work I would grab that $900 and run! LOL

I'll keep you in mind, xtremelawns. No, right now I don't have a camera to shoot pictures of it. I've decided if I can't get what I think its worth, I might just hold onto it. I really like the new TORO Z593 with the kubota diesel on it. I'm not really impressed with anything the dealers have yet so I may just make the few repairs and run it another season. I was hoping some of the spring deals would have been better but it seems I should have gone ahead and bought a new machine last year when I found the good deals! O well, I'll wait and see!

Crap dude that is a TON of hours and thus a ton of other wear and tear! There is no way that engine has much more if any life left. Just from what you have said you'd have to pay ME to take i off your hands. He is being nice to you at $900 (plus at your $1100 you are only $200 apart) so TAKE the money and run before he changes his mind!

I agree with everyone else that $900 is plenty. It really has no value with that much wear. My question is why are you selling it. I would keep it around as a backup machine for sure. I would be willing to bet that whatever price the dealer is quoting you for the new machinem after the trade allowance, is the same amount that you could buy it outright if you just left your trade-in at home. It is no different than buying a car.

Service regularly and it needs all of this at one time? How do you lose a deck lever arm?:dizzy: After a bit more thought, I think you should take the $900 and run.:)
