I have this weed showing up in my St. Augistine yard and would like to find something that can kill it, short of pulling it. I can pull it if it is the only problem but the base is so large in areas that it leaves gaping holes where the weed was. What would you recommend that the average homeowner put on this to kill it with minimal impact to the surrounding St. Augistine. Also what is the weed that is similar to clover that is around the top picture? When plucked it produces some sort of milky white liquid. I think that if I can get these under control my yard will be better off, and can concentrate on the fungus that is in the soil that was due to builders drainage problems. Any help is greatly appreciated.
