What is this?

    I know it's fairly common here in MO, but I am not exactly sure what it is. I am going to be planting more of it in a new bed, and I would hate to plant the wrong thing. If any of you can identify this, I would really appreciate it.

    hard to tell but might be euonymus alatas or burning bush, if the stems have edges on it and it turns bright red in fall then it is that
