What is wrong with this picture???

    What about the brass fittings that thread into the filter head on a Exmark Lazer? Do you use teflon tape on those? In the diagram #3 is the filter head.

    If they're NPT fittings ( prolly are), then yeah, you can use tape. I personally don't use teflon tape on hydro NPT fittings. I use a non-hardening sealer like Permatex on the male threads only.

    Yes NPT. Thanks Fish. I'll have to pick up some Permatex®Pneumatic/Hydraulic Sealant.
