At the back of my property I have two compost bins, one of which have about 10-15 of these lil critters hiding in a corner. Anyone know what these things are?

Earwig, ehh don't want that thing in my ear.

Is this a destructive type of bug? Should I be concerned it's in the compost or on the property? More or less should I worry about killing them or just let them be?

Can be beneficial under some circumstances and not under others. http://edis.ifas.ufl.edu/ig093

Thanks for the info and the link. They don't seem like they are that big of an issue and by the link are attracted to the exact thing they are at... compost.

    Much appreciated!

Those things put chills down my back :dizzy:

They don't tickle when they bite either.
