around where i am exmark and scag are the most popular. exmark has better dealers though. personally i use an exmark 36 walk behind and a 54 JD tractor with a cyclone rake. the tractor shines in the fall for the leaves.

    I'm running two dixon ztr's.

2010 dixon grizzly (husqvarana PZ) 29 kawi and 60" deck

    2007 dixon kodiak with a 21 kawi 52" deck

I also have 2006 toro WB, but I really never use it. The toro just sits at the house.

our commercial truck has 2 Gravely 260's on it
one of my res trucks has a Dixie 44in ZTR and a Gravely 34in ZTR and a Snapper 21in
the other has a Gravely 50in and a 34in, as well as a Snapper 21in.

Were going to sell the Dixie as soon as I get around to getting a new Gravely 44in.

We are gonna be demoing a Gravely stander model next week. Might swap out to them if it increases production.

I started this year with an 07 eXmark metro 36" walk behind. It has a mulching kit/blades and the "ride on" sulky. This mower is amazing. We handle roughly 30 accounts and it handles them all flawlessly. No clumping or double cutting ever necessary. By the time I finish cutting every yard my guy is wrapping it up with the blower (typically 30 mins) The mulching kit is also good for making leaves disappear. Bag the bulk and then hit it with the walkbehind and they're gone so it is useful in alot of ways.

My point is, if you are just starting out, this is an excellent starter or backyard mower. I know I could handle 50/week with my walk behind. Me and 1 trimming and edging. I'm very tempted to buy a "sit down" exmark lazer Z, but I won't until I know I really need it.

I'd say the top 3 brands are
    1. Exmark
    2. Scag
    3. Gravely/Toro/Hustler/Wright
    :D

Question: Who has the best online prices for ExMark/Kawasaki 36" WalkBehinds and Honda Commercail mower Parts. Any help saving $$ is greatly appreciated. Thanks,
    Geoff

lol, good question. It seems like the online stuff (mostly just other dealers) is all about the shipping. I imagine shipping a ZTR is chump change :D
