Home Cheapo had some rakes w/ lifetime warranty. Break 'em and take 'em back, but that got old, they still broke. I think I went through at least 10 rakes last year.

Well, I found a rake at Wal-Mart that I really like. It's called a clog-free rake. It's plastic and the "tines" aren't really separated. They look more like serrated teeth, not really sure how to describe it. Seems like it was around $12 or so.

It doesn't clog with leaves at all, and it's pretty durable.

When I do use a rake, which isn't often, it an old metal tined rake I bought like 10 years ago. It's lost about half of it's tines now and will probably be due for replacement in a few years.
