I was just wondering what type of vechicle all of you use? I have a jimmy(suv) and was thinking about getting a truck to use instead for lawn care use but i'm not sure yet. Just wondering if there is any good or bad points to using a suv?

    I have a 2002 F-250 P/S'er with 373's and a 85 f-150 300 6 cly.
The 250 will pull all of Grassdaddy equipment and the truck and get 15 mpg. Just had to say it LOL:p

2003 Dodge 2500 regular cab 4X4 with a Cummins High Output diesel, auto trans, Line-X'd, E-Z Dumper insert, and Dodge says I can tow 13,300 pounds of my choice.:p :p

The bad points to a SUV are obvious. You can't haul leaves, grass, mulch, dirt, or anything else but if it works for you then it's fine.

Heck, today I saw a caravan towing a trailer that had a Exmark ZTR, along with some handheld 2 cycle equipment on it.

I once had a 85 blazer, pulling probably a 24' travel trailer pass my 99 150 like i was standing still, the 99 I had was the most gutless truck that I ever had, a gust of wind would make it downshift, no kidding. sure like the diesel.
