My kubota had a work light on the boom that wasnt protected. Knew it was just a matter of time. So just wondering what I should replace it with. I figure with something like this I can probably get something brighter and cheaper than OEM kubota.

I am with you on the brighter light. My Bobcat 335 has lights that are all but worthless. I know it's unconventional but why not mount lights on the cab? I believe there are magnetic "kc" style light kits. I've been thinking about that myself.
Was watching "Jungle Gold" last week and saw that CAT excavator running at night with very little light output. I think the OEM lights are a decoration.. You need some serious lights to work efficiently.

It does have 2 cab lights and the one on the boom that i ripped off. Cant say as I have ever used the lights seriously before. But I'll still put a new one on just in case. I bet kubota will want 100 bucks so Im sure i can do better for my hundred.

Google Rigid LED's they have industrial lights, pure white light with low amp draw. I run a 50" SR series on my Jeep and I can cast light as far as 300' and my 4" flood light light an area 60' forward and 30' sideways.

We put led floods on our leaf vac, truck, and skidsteer, they are bright as hell and draw bery little juice.
    Good luck with your decision.

Ps led,s are a bit pricey but worth it IMO

A bit over kill for a mini, but for a big machine, PERFECT.

The 4" floods are what all us Jeepers use as fog lights or windsheild mounted lighting. they cast some serious light.

Round off the nut and bolt heads to prevent theft and etch your name in the housings.
