I ran across this Scag on ebay and never saw one like it. It looks as if someone took a walk behind and made a ZTR out of it... Can anyone confirm if this is a factory model or not?

    WoW!!!

What a Calf-Burner that must be!

    Def not factory.

Actually looks dangerous. Not to mention, severely underpowered.

    Not bad looking for homemade.

    Oh, and howdy neighbor!

Yeah the more I looked at it the more I could tell it was a homemade model. Lack of footrests, the controls etc...
Wonder if the guy knows what he is selling or if he is trying to put one over on somebody.

Hey TLS! Where are you located? SE PA is a pretty large area!

Looks like a walk-behind that has been converted to a rider. Would not trust it.

It is a Scag and looks to be a 1999 model year.
FYI it is not underpowered. For years an 18 hp with 52" deck was standard even for riders and they worked fine. Someone has rigged the controls but there is a thread on here somewhere that shows a company that makes mowers that look just like this. The muffler is a problem though. LOL

BTW Scag makes fixed deck mowers.

I think it says SCAB on the top of the deck. Its maybe a mexican knockoff like a Rotex watch.
