What setup do you use?

I am considering adding a applicating side to my lawn care business. What I was thinking about doing was using dry products and spot spraying for weeds. My questions are what do you use to spray the weeds? Do you have a tank and hose in your truck you use for the first time to kill all weeds and then just spot spray with a backpack? This was the approach I was considering. Let me know what you think.

    I use B/P sprayers .
    SP brand .
So far mine have held up for 5 months
My friend is having very bad luck with his new ones .

If you're doing lawn care , you'll need another truck

Why would he need another truck?

I was using only spo's for all my spraying with a three nozzle boom on them. Worked pretty good. Now I have a sprayer that fits on my walker with a 96" spray width and 50' of hose. Saves a lot of time now. I spray the first time with the walker sprayer in the spring then in the fall will spot spray with the spo and no boom, just the adjustable cone nozzle.

There is another thread on this just a few posts down.

I use some granulars and some liquid. I designed a self contained spray rig that sits on the deck covering plate for my Gravely ProG. I have a remote lever to actuate the boom that is mounted in front on the frame the tank sits on. I ride on a single wheel velke. The power for the pump comes fron a lawn and garden battery on the frame of the spray rig. I can get through fences that a 36" wb can get through, and the ones I can't, I have employees to use the bp sprayer.
The neat thing on this sprayer is that it takes me maybe one minute to attach and detach from the ProG. And most importantly, I checked with the factory - and I do not violate any warranty issues with this set-up.
