For whatever it's worth, the damn Cummins would drag the ford down the rode if we tied their rear bumpers together. I'm amazed by the power of the Cummins.. Truly amazed..
I'm running a 1994 Ford F-150 1/2 ton. I will prolly be putting airbags on the rear when I get a bigger trailer, but I will more than likely upgrade to a Ford F-350 sometime in a few years, gotta be a diesel. But for now 1/2 ton is fine for me and most on here as well IMO
2000 1 ton chevy pick up Single rear wheel (plow truck and backup landscape truck)
2007 1/2 chevy ext cab (personal, will use it every once in a while to pull the mowers down to the dealer)
I've been looking at Fords. If I found one in my price range I think I would have bought one for a plow/ backup truck. The price was right on the Chevy p/u. I already know the issues with Chevy and what to look out for buying used.
