Looking at them this weekend. If they work, I will have a new mower to try and if those work through May will order another 2-3. 26's are getting old and still work great. Like I said they are a Niche mower and not for everyone. Won't replace the 36hydro or any other mower but the 21!

Variable speed is fine, its just like any other self-propelled mower (exmark x-series, toro 22156, etc.) Been using it for years, works great, I'm not a fan of the personal pace but the var-speed is great, I'd be more concerned about the engine/weight/cut. I'll be getting one for sure, all my properties are done with a 21" so this should be a good fit.

Called what? Please be more specific, especially on a over 2 year old thread.

I really don't know weather to buy one or not.. I found a guy here locally who has a 2014 Toro Turfmaster that looks brand new still & only wants $800 for it.. Kinda thinking I should grab it..

Smallest gates in my area are 34" and would LOVE to find a good hydro powered mower less than that in overall width. Any suggestions? I hate push mowing.

He called that it wouldn't have enough hp to bag or mulch heavy growth.

But he didn't call that it wouldn't have enough power to pull hills. Very heavy and awkward to use. That it would be a maintenance nightmare and break all the time. Or that the deck would pack faster than any deck ever made in wet grass and puke all over the place.

I read somewhere that guys where zip tying something on or near the trans & made it pull a lot harder on hills with no problem. Atleast on the Toro version.. Deck still got really dirty though..
