What to charge for aerating and overseeding?

This is my first year to offer core aeration on a "widespread" basis, advertising to the general public instead of just renting a unit to take care of regular clients.

I plan to offer aeration and overseeding with a choice of 2 or 3 different seed blends. (Shady fescue / sunny fescue / Perennial ryegrass.) All with a little "Starter fertilizer".

One thing I haven't quite figured out yet: What to charge for it other than just pulling something out thin air or somewhere else... ?? What DO you charge for aerating? I'll be using a small entry-level aerator. If it works out well this fall I'll buy a bigger unit next fall.

I'm in the same situation. I need to know where the industry average minimum price is for core aeration. Hard work so I assume it isn't cheap. Perhaps 2.5X the price for a regular mowing?

I charge $100 for the average yard which is 8,000 - 12,000 sq feet for core aeration
