have a customer 10k. told us about a month ago she didn't need us to cut anymore. well, today she calls and says the grass has gotten out of control and wants us to cut and bag. anyway, we cut with a 48". our problem is that the only bagger i have is a 21" toro.... if we charge $25 with the 48, how much should we charge to bag with the 21? thanks,

Charge her from the date she fell off,If it was 4 weeks ago 4x25=100+small bagging fee.

I was thinking 3x the regular mowing fee!

4x may tick her off...You need to determine this in advance! :p

Yep...about 3 times the fee. YOU are the expert, and dictate how you run your service and equipment, not the customer. With the walk behind (48), cut it and then trim everything out. This will allow the grass time to dry a bit. Use your 48 to windrow it up, and then just take a tarp right down the row and rake it up. Do NOT bother to make piles..this is just extra, needless work.

$60.00 per hur for the first man and machine. $45.00 per hour per addtional man. Then add on dump fee and last but not least....the cost of lunch for the crew!
