What to do when you have summer patch

    OK I live in the Kansas City MO area and this is a first for me so help me out. I am 99.9% sure that one of the yards I treat has summer patch I mean not only do I see the frog eyes I can almost see the frog crocking at me. :laugh::laugh:

    Anyway I haven't done anything to it what product should I put down and what cultural steps should I take to fix it. I want to be able to expain it to the customer so help me out please

    We call it necrotic ring spot. Typical of sodded turf. We have not had acceptable control from chemicals. Rake the spots heavily and seed the spots with a top-quality disease-resistant blue/rye mixture.
    Or...cut the spot out square and 6 inches extra for border and resod the spots. Repeat as needed.
