When you knock on the door to pass out fliers, what does everyone open with. What is your first line to try to break the ice with that person. Thanks Joe

    I don't knock....

For one most homeowners aren't home when i pass out flyers and two it takes to much time, Flyers are a number game... the more you get out the better your chances. You'd probably have just as good of a response to cold call and sit in the office all day.

    Just my opinion

I use doorhangers, printed and precut, slide one on and off to the next house.
    Got mine from www.doorhangers.com

If you already have flyers... goto staples or the like and buy a bag of rubber bands and band them to the doorknob.

I personally don't feel there is a need to knock on any doors. In this day and age, a lot of people don't like opening up their door, especially the elderly. Use doorhangers as mentioned above.

I agree... unless your targeting your own neighbors then it's a good idea to just introduce yourself (if they don't know you already) and your services... keep it short, simple and sweet.
