I have been looking at used trailers and I can not decide what kind I need. I found a 6x13 trailer single axle for $500 and it just has the pipe railing around it. I see alot of people with trailers with the 4' mesh sides. what do I need to buy

you can buy whatever fits your needs. i have an open trailer. with just angle iron no mesh on the sides. or you can go buy an enclosed. i have a 6X14 Dual-Axle 7000GVWR for sale.

use my truck for leaves. and for other stuff i just throw it on the trailer and strap it down. i was gonna try and make some sides for it this year, but that depends on if i keep it.

yeh i think im going to put the 4 ft sides on mine this year. and yeh i just dump the leaves, mulch whatever in there and strap it down with a tarp! but i went with a 16ft, i would never go with anything smaller. im goin with an 18ft next time.

Just picked up a 16 foot dual axle. Had a 6 X 12 last year, way to small. Never seems to be big enough lol.

    Cheers

    Raven386,
I read you are selling a 6 x 14 enclosed trailer. Still available? If so, how much? Send email to aaxteriors@optonline.net

Along the lines of what Xoopiter posted, are you sure you don't want bigger? A couple walkbehinds (or a ZTR), blowers, trimmers, etc and you will fill up that trailer with equipment really quick. But, if the trailer is good shape, that seems like a decent price. A welding shop could easily put higher sides on it, or at least make stake pockets for 2x4s so you could make your own sides.
