What Trimmer Line Do You Prefer? Round, Sqare, Star?

    Square .095 from john deere landscapes, its cheap and dark green. No picking up flouresent chunks of trimmer line.

    Husqvarna titanium spool. .095. It's kind of twisted. Cuts nice and really durable. Make sure to soak your spools in a bucket of water for a day or so. Makes a big difference.

    Stihl x-line. 5lbs for 45.00

    Seems to leave a good cut, fairly durable. Not sold on it after hear so many good things about Oregon's stuff. I think I'll try them next.

    why do you soak them in water and do you soak them after it is wound onto the trimmer spool ? thanks

    Stihl X Line 095 here as well. I paid 17 for a 1 pound spool.
