I am installing Trimmer trap racks in an enclosed trailer and want to know type fasteners you guys have used to attach things inside your trailers.
I am thinking a large self tapping screw of some type will hold the weight. I will be attaching to the metal upright, through 1/4" plywood.

5/16 " bolts. Self tapping screws are hardened and may eventually break.

I have used sheet metal screws to hold up the shelves I have mounted in my enclosed trailer. Drill a pilot hole that is a little smaller than the diameter of the screw, then get ready to give your forearms a workout. But I doubt the mounting of a few racks will take that many screws. This seems to be a really sturdy attachment for me since I routinely have over 100 lbs in some of my shelves. (blades, hydraulic jacks, oil, etc.)
