The most I made in a 6 hr day, (yes 6 hours), was 395.00 thats not to bad I guess for solo. Me and a helper was I think 525.00 for about a 7 hour day.

I did work for the city as 1 of 5 companies doing weed mowing. 1 Saturday we (my sister's husband and I) did 9 lots in 4.5 hours so I could get finished early and take my wife out for our anniversary. We had 12 to do, but 2 were done when we got there and one I had objections to doing because of thugs in a neighbor's yard. This is not pretty work, but I don't mow trash, and I remove debris from the lots. I ended up with an 8' bed full of bagged trash and almost $1100 in work orders.

Best regular mowing day was a bit over $450, alone, and in about 11 hours including lunch.

Pressure washing: $450 for a deck that took 6 hours alone.

    Mulch: $1300 for a 9 yd job with 6 man-hours of weeding.

Most is a lot less, but I just looked at this season's numbers. Last year's were skewed because I got a Z in June. Billed work is up from about $50 to almost $60 an hour. I am very happy about this.

    In my solo days:

    Mowing $700.00 +/- (12 hour day)
Leaf removal $1200.00 (12 hour day) (had good wind)
    Aerating $700.00 +/- I hate doing aerations!
Fertilizing $1600.00 late fall fert only (1 ton + of fert.)
    Mulching $850.00 12 cu. yards
    Pruning $700.00 Oh my back!!

Now I have crews. This year my best day with all crews was considerably more than any of my solo days.

I started using a Z this year for the first time full time with a 36wb for gates. By my self, I usually end up in the $450-$500 range on average with the most at $600. With another guy, $700 was average and nice thing was we got home before dark. But, this dosen't even compare to plantings where net profits can end up around $1,000 for a day solo. Usually start 8:30 and finish 12-13 hours later with 20 min lunch. Dosen't bother me much now, but I know it will in a year or two.
