For those that have enclosed trailers, what features do you wish you would of added when you got the trailer.Or would of said no too? (this has nothing to do with length or width) Maybe a few extra doors? nice wheels maybe a few more feet or height. What would you do over again?

Get the extended tounge. A must for turning and backing in tight areas.

Since I already had my enclosed trailer, I dealt with what I had:

Haulmark 6x14 w/ 32" side door and rear barn doors.

I have to build a custom ramp that folds up inside the back doors and secures. Works good to.

However, if I were going to go and buy one today, this is what I would get.

    minimum 8'X18'
    Rear Ramp Door
    36" side door access
Extended Tounge with set back jack
    Interior 12V DC Lights
    two Roof Vents

I have seen several manufactures (Pace American being one) that are making Landscaper/Lawn Care specific trailers. They include a more rigid ramp door, treated plywood floor, thicker plywood on walls for equipment mounting and more cross members in the floor for the added weight of Ztrns and of course torsion axles. They cost a little more, but worth the money for the long term if you really want an enclosed trailer.

    Happy Shopping...

I ordered my current enclosed trailer so I got everything the way I want it :) The only thing I would probably change on my current trailer would be to go with a smaller side door. I have a 48" door now and it is a little big. I liked the 36" door on my last trailer better. I would probably opt for LED lights next time but that is more of a want that a necessity.
