this is a pretty small job for most of you but i wanted to see what you all would charge. here are the specs:

    -5 azaleas to be removed(appr. 3ft. high)
-approximately 837 sq. ft. to be reseeded and mulched (area is overgrown with weeds)

-customer has already purchased seed and hay

so what would your price be for removing azaleas, prepping soil, reseeding and then mulching?

    Am I missing something here?

Why would you seed and then lay down mulch on top of it?

What kind of equipment are you using?

By what means are you going to pull the plants out?

I don't know about sq ft but how many yards is that? I charge $80 per yard (mulch, delivery, & install), I'd charge $50 per bush, $4 per bale, and add $75 for landfill fee.

The big question here B&B is what equiptment do you have for the work that has to done? If you are trying to just get by, I would suggest sub'ing it out so you don't have a pissed off customer when thing don't come in right. Here is a question for you, How much does it cost you per hour to work? What are your expenses from labor to truck payments to equiptment rental/payment, etc. That is how you figure what you need to charge for a job, along with how many jobs you can do in say a week/month and does that amount pay the bills. If not you need a bussiness professional to come and help you understand cash flow.
