What would it cost new? Also, 17/48 with a mulch sounds underpowered to me.

$1900-$2500 if you needed it. This time of yr the lower price is more in line.

If I’m not mistaken that mower retailed for around 5200, in these parts. What kind of condition is the mower in?

If I was the seller, and the mower was in excellent condition with only a 170 hours ,id ask 3k.

the mower is in great shape !!! he's askin $2900.00 but I think $2500.00
would be reasonable, I have an older model w/b w/ yellow deck 14hp
and 2300 hrs on it, still cuts great !!! but she is getting some age on her
so this would be her replacement when the day comes, also looking at some
727, 737, jd. zero turns what your thoughts on those ?

I have a 737 and did have a 717 that I was pleased with and they cut great. I did have some problems with the 19kaw on the 717 that took an act of congress to get it replaced. I will say if you do have a problem with JD get ready for a fight with them. I will probably go with another brand next go round.

Wow!! A 727 here did go for around 6300! My 737 was only 7004.00 OTD. You will be happier with the 54" deck as my 60" scalps BAD on uneven ground. My 717 with the 48" hardly ever scalped. I am considering putting both my Z,s up for sale (already have add printed) and going back to one ztr with a 48" deck and an accelerator bagger for the few times I have to bag instead of mulch. Im eliminating all bagging clients next spring with the exception of 2 small ones.

the only clients I bag for are the ones who have grass near their pools and they are fenced in and only takes me 5 minutes w/ my 21" mower
maybe I should head south to but my mowers there !!!
