I have a Jacobsen 18inch greens mower that I'm trying to figure out how much to sell for. It was purchased from the Augusta National and they bought it in 1994. It has a Honda 4.0 engine.

Any ideas on it's worth? I can post a picture if needed to get an idea on it's condition. Thanks

Bump maybe CGA will chime in.

The question I have is how high does it go? Most people do not need a greens mower.

    Good question...im not sure.

But I also have an adjuster for the height and lapping compound...if that adds to the value at all lol.

The problem is, while a very nice mower, it only cuts very very short. Like so short you need to use it daily.

    How many reels?

I would suspect if the mower is in good running condition (bearings and such) and the cylinder and bedknife have been spin and relief ground and in good working order you should get a solid 500.00 for this machine. I would suspect it has 11 blade to the cylinder anything less than that and the price drops slightly. Put it in Craigs list for your state with as much info as possible you live in the south where the this machine should sell. Also spend the time to clean it up real good the newer it looks the better for you.
