Tired of using the 21 on a few backyards and with a 36" being more productive I won't have to turn down dozens of new accounts a season. I want a belt drive for easy maintance and repair costs. My Exmark dealer has a 36" Metro gear drive, ECS controls, & a 15hp Kawasaki for $2,750; is this a good price? What are some other good 36's out there?

I've got the 36'' metro HP. It comes with the floating deck but I'm pretty sure they dont make them anymore. It's an awesome mower.

I have the JD G15. It's just alright. Cuts really nice and saves a ton of time in gated back yards. I just don't care for the way it drives kinda man handles you a little bit. Next WB will be a hydro for sure.

I like my Toro with T-bar. Can run it all day. Does a decent job cutting.

I personally consider the Toro T-Bar to be the best gear drive controls available. As such I recommend Toro's gear drive mowers, fixed or floating, they should be very similarly priced to the Exmarks. If you happen to prefer the lever controls, get the Exmark ECS, just like your looking at.
