We have one ZK, and we are looking to add a second stander. The zk is a bit heavy for what we need so we are looking at the new stander x. I seen the info on the stander on your page, but can you tell me what the difference is between the X, RH, and regular are?

    Thanks!

    Good Morning Chris!

Thanks so much for your interest in our new Stander X! The ZK is a great machine if you're looking for a Stander that can do the same (but better) job as an MMZ. The Stander X is more of a great combo of many of our mowers. We took some of the favorite features that users liked best and incorporated them into one awesome machine!

    The X now features:

The quick cut height adjustment that the RH has.
Suspension Platform that the ZK and Improved large Stander have.
Floating cutter deck that the ZK and MMZ have.
    Standard Striping kit - new!
Newly designed "bull nose" cutter deck - new! Our testing shows this deck has made a vast improvement in our cut quality!
Sealed tapered roller bearings in front caster arms - new!

Plus, it has all the standard qualities of our Wright line:

    High ground speed.
    Unmatched maneuverability.
Low center of gravity and large wheels for hillside stability.
No seat, seat belts or arm rests for easy bail out ability.
Hydo-Gear 15 cu in wheel motors and 12 cc pumps with cast iron heads and cooling fans.

We think you'll be very pleased with our newest Stander X! If you are interested in trying one out, please feel free to contact me here or directly (jillianj@wrightmfg.com) and I'll be happy to coordinate with the distributor in your area.

Let me know if you should have any further questions or concerns!

    Kind regards,

    syzer,

The new X has the same capabilities as the regular fixed deck but with the lift system for the cutter deck, and a new design for the cutter deck. The RH is a smaller stander overall with a slower ground speed (7.5 vs. 9.5), lift system for the cutter deck and with the new wider rear tires (18 x 10.5 - 10) almost the same slope holding.

    Best Regards

Thanks, I would be interested in a demo, but we would be picking one up before December 7th to get in on the seasonal pricing. The only problem is that its
tough to demo now, nothing is growing. We are a bit apprehensive about the new deck as we mulch with all of our mowers. How have you found it mulches with a kit on it?

So if we pick one up and find we don't like the cut in Spring its likely too late to do anything.

The speed of this mower is 9.5?

    Thanks,

    Chris

    syzer,

It mulches well with the kit in it, we recommend using a wave type mulch blade which performed the best in our local testing. In going from the 10cc hydro pump to the 12cc pump w/fan we were able to bump the ground speed to 9.5mph same as the current fixed deck large Stander.

it is a very nice machine and handles identical to the original stander. i too am aprehensive naturally about the new deck as we could not test it in the toughest conditions but it did leave a nice cut and the dispersal was good(although you said you only mulch so.)

Ya, I was a bit apprehensive a out the purchase but, the dealer is good, and Im sure if an issue pops up they will take care of it considering the situation. Would have loved it to debut a little earlier so the crews could have tried it out a bit first.

exactly, but in the future we will yet again need more mowers and will give her a try again with the mower we would need to try you know.

i hope this is a hit for you guys wright, it will be as long as the deck performs, and i mean that in a good way. the mower is well designed and it is a great machine overall. i thoroughly enjoyed the demo.
