I'm doing a job that is 3 acres its all grass and no trees and I will be using a walk behind with jungle wheels because my main zero turn is broke down and I'm just wondering what's the most acres you have mowed using a walk behind

9 -- no jungle wheels -- walked (jogged) it all behind my turf tracer.

was the only account I did that day (or the next) I was too sore for anymore.

None. I use the Toro only for steep places.

damn you guys 3 acres, 9 whoa!

i used to do 1.5 with my 34" simplicity once.. got the 61" ferris quickly after that though lol.

Worst i did was about a 1.2 acre all open with a 21" pusher/propelled haha, that was horrible.

We generally dont use anything walk behind unless a zero turn simply doesnt fit through a gate or something.

1.5 I think, maybe 2, but I learned somewhere early on that Wb's are made
for lots UP to an acre so I never much got into the bigger ones with it.

It's not that it can't be done, it just starts dragging as one approaches the acre,
not something I would take on full time if a Wb were my only mower.

Temporarily, well you gotta do what you gotta do some days.

When I started out, I did a little over an acre as well with a 21inch snapper. I dreaded that day of the week.....How did you like the 61inch Ferris? Do you think one with a velke could stay even with a 48 ZTR? Do they stripe well? I am going to have to pick one or the other soon, and my local ferris/hustler dealer has really impressed me.

With all the hills in my route, a zero turn doesn't make sense for me. That means I suffer on a few larger accounts.
