Guys can you help me out?

I have this tough area on a commercial and this was here before I got here and it does well.

    Can you name that perennial?

Looks like physostegia to me - common name "obedient plant" because the flowers stay bent if you fold them over... Disobedient in my books because it like to spread and come up two feet from where it was planted. Comes in white and shades of pink, old-fashioned and very hardy.

At first I was thinking a form of garden phlox but the flower heads are elongated or stretched compared to phlox.

Even if it's an obedient plant, and you can't find any, phlox would give you the some basic structure and growth habit and is easier to find at most garden centers.
