but did you smell like "sparky's rear end"?;)
is that serious, or temporary? I just really started wearing eye protection this year. but poop flingings i have no defense for.

don't you hate it when that happens. I've done it twice and its not fun. yes you do smell like sparky's rear end until you take a shower. whats worse is when you hit a toad but that another story.

LOL!! i've never got hit by sparky yet,I have blown a frog apart and paid the price.as for my eyes... i was rushing with rain coming down and just jumped on the machine to knock the yard out.I always wear eye and ear protection, just not that one time.I'm on antibiatics and will heal shortly eye is still light sensitive but wearing my sunglasses like i'm suppose to will help in the healing...And damn did it hurt when it happend, vision went blurry and watering like crazy...

I hit a Smirnoff Ice bottle with the t270 yesterday. It was under pressure and exploded when I hit it .I felt glass fly by my face( you know when you've been doing this for a while when you can close your eyes before something hits you..lol), and when I stopped to check for damage, there was a piece of glass on my cheek that was stuck there by sweat, not blood. It hit on a flat spot and just stuck. Close one...Had my share of "sparky piles" the other day.I just charge extra and keep on keepin' on...

bill,
you lucky "dog":) , here they're "colt 45" and "old english"  bottles. you're one the reasons i started wearing the eye protection, i never saw the radians before, i really liked the idea.

seriously though, how do you charge for the poop? do you factor itinto the price> what if you "discover" it after, while your on the job? The grass i was cutting today was a cleanup. it was about 2 - 3' high. the dog actually crapped, and it wasn't on top, and wasn't on the floor... thick grass i'm telling you.

Adam, it's in our agreements to pick it up and charge $ 35.00 per man hour to do so, but I never have. I just use the equipment cleaning fee clause in the agreement instead. Basically, when I get into too much dog doo, like when it gets in my tires or on me, I add a $ 10.00 eqip. cleaning fee, and use their hose to clean up before we leave as well. Isn't it fun finding a hidden pile hanging in tall grass like that? I knew exactly what you meant as soon as I read it..lol Just keep an eye open for it in the future or send in the amigo first..haha
