Had a guy come in today and showed me this flower. I am thinking it is type of amaryllis. Anybody know for sure?

Yes, I do owe my wife a nice dinner and plan on that happening this week. Our anniversary is next week, so we will treat ourselves then too. She has been great running our store this past summer. Put up with hot and dry weather when sitting there trying to sell some plants and service. There hasn't been much business but she is still dedicated to trying to expand our business.
