We have one customer that gives us $200 Christmas bonus.
$50.00 from one guy every year!!
$10k from my first customer when she died.
We have gotten several small cash tips and dozens of lawn mowers and weed eaters. The best one was about 2 weeks ago my customer gave me this sons old truck. It is a 1989 v6 4x4 Chevy s-10 in great shape with only 60,000 miles. I now have it for sale for 1500.00. Also have gotten several nice riding mowers over the last few years and a vintage 3 wheeler that started as soon as we filled it with gas.
we have 2 customers that tip $5.00 dollars every week on thre $30.00 dollar cut and 1 customer that tips $5.00 everytime on their bi-weekly cut. So thats around 150.00 a year from each of the weekly's and around $75.00 a year for the bi-weekly. Also have recieved 3 21' mowers 2 push and one self propelled snapper.
i got a 200 dollar tip on a pond i finished the other day
$20 to 50 at christmas is pretty common.
have a few that give me $100 for Christmas
got a DR field trimmer and sold it.
got a 92 ford ranger with 250,000 miles on it as a tip for a sod job. used it for a year then sold it for $700.
and lots of little things that I don't remember.
I get a 10 dollar tip from a lady every week. But the biggest tip Ive gotten this year...is....charge more next year.
