I am doing a lawn renovation on a property that had major damage due to cinch(sp?) bug damage last year. I am going to get someone to handle the application of sevin from lesco, but I want to know should I put this product down before I start my work, or after I finish my seeding?

chinch bugs right now will be hiding trying to keep warm. you wont really find them out feeding till things warm up quite a bit more. generally speaking we'll start seeing chinch bug activity towards late May/early june

I'd do my sevin or talstar application in june for chinch bugs. Been doing lawns in CT for 15 years, and this ahs always worked for me. Except for last year, when they were showing up in late september, but last year was the fluke to end all flukes. or at least I hope it was...
