when to buy?

    When is the best time to buy new equipment and why?

    Whenever the old equipment is broken.

    lol ffshuter...how true.

    A lot of deals to be had on 2003 models now to make room for 2004. However, most of that equipment will be relatively idle till spring and will be 3-5 months into the warrenty period before you really use it.

    well if you buy now you could clam it on your 2003 tax's. Exmark dealers will have year end deals and exmark has 0 down financing till 2004. So you could be using your new mower to do fall cleanups ;)

    If its a 2 year waranty...
    you will get 2 full seasons worth of waranty out of it weather you buy it now or in the spring. Only difference in buying in the spring, is at the end of 2 seasons, you sit on your waranty over the winter. 6 of one, half dozen of another.

    To answer your question, i buy when i first need it, and second when i can afford it.
