Anybody know when the Echo srm-210 model was discontinued?
I'm not sure of an exact date, but I believe it has been over a year now. I may be wrong though.
When they felt the unit was too light and two rings on the piston was too many
I never was a huge fan of Echo trimmers, did like the 2400's though, but it seems Echo more than any other manufacturer has really raised the weight and dropped the power.
It's just that it is my backup (I'm in high school) and got it a few years back as my first one, didn't notice until a few days ago that it isn't even circulating anymore.
2 years ago they updated the model and badged it as a SRM225. I have a 210 that's going on 13 years old. It's still my go to trimmer and runs great. I bought another 210 new (at a great price mind you) when my dealer told me they changed the model to the 225.
