A local mowing guy calls, and asks me to submit a bid for lawn care at a retirement community. I measure the property, figure pricing and submit it to him. He says " I'll do the pre and post weed control in all the beds".
I say, "If you're licensed why ask me to bid?"
"You mean I need a license for that?"
I explained that a license is needed for any comm'l pesticide work in CT.
    "Even for Roundup?"
    Even for Roundup.
CT DEP fine up to $1000.00

    Don't get caught

    Turfscape

Real Landscapers Know there stuff. I am a real Landscaper and have the certificates to prove it, including Pesticide. The problem is anyone can claim to be a landscaper. Look at every start up grass cutter, they call themselves landscapers.

    Ric,
I meant no offense. Notice I called him a mowing guy, not a landscaper. Real landscapers have my respect, they seem to be working harder than me
