Around 5yrs. ago I had one of my regular customers a older man bring his 11yr. old 22" Murray in, He said it didn't have any power and bogged down when he tried to mow. Well the 3.5hp Briggs was wore slap out so I decided to play a prank on him. I took his 3.5 off and bolted a 12hp Briggs on, I called him up and told him it was fixed and had plenty of power now. The next day he came walking in to pick it up, I took him to the back and pulled a cover off of it. I thought he was gonna die right on the spot from laughing so hard but the clincher was when I grabbed the rope and fired it right up. He thought the engine was just sitting there. Of course it was way too heavy to push across the yard so I explained it was time for a new one and he went up in our showroom and picked one out. After seeing the one up top I just wanted to share the story of the one I built.
