Does anyone know where I can get very sturdy very durable hand tools like a spade and a edging shovel? I remember like 5 years ago lesco used to sell this extreme digging shovel for like 100 bucks anyone know about that? Who made it, where it came from. Lesco told me that a company named Union made it but they cant get it any more. Any help would be great...thanks!

I like the Wolverine tools too, but the full steel shovels and such are heavy.

I just bought a Ridgid pointed shovel from home cheapo, and so far I'm happy with the weight and sturdiness.

you need "the King of spades" from A.M. Leonard and get the rest of your hand tools from Sears! Yes, Sears, they may not be the best tools money can buy but, the are good quality and have a lifetime warranty so you will only have to buy new ones when they are lost!

I found a good pair of hand pruners because my mother in-law pointed out fiskar makes good scissors. There about as bullet proof as $5 can get.

Fiskars does make good shovels. They used to sell Fiskars in Lowes and they had an edging shovel called the worlds greatest shovel. I have two of them and they are pretty decent but they dont sell them anymore at least at the lowes by me. I still want to know who made that lesco shovel like 5 years ago
