Where do you all have your scalp wheels set on ZTR's?

    I have my anti-scalp wheels on my gravely 252z set to where they roll all the time when cutting at 2" or below. Should I run them like this? I think my holes are 1" apart and thats to much gap in between. I should have one more hole between the 2 holes I have now. If I pick them up a hole then I scalp bad on hilly lawns.

    If you have your owner's manual, it should say in there, if not on a sticker on the top of your deck.

    Each manufactuer is different.

    Wherever they don't scalp. If they're rolling all the time, keep them oiled, and they will have to be replaced a little more ogten. It does beg the question, though...Why are you cutting below 2 inches?

    I have a customer that likes her grass cut real short. Thats why I asked.
