I am looking for and inexpensive hourmeter for my proline 36. It has a 15hp kohler. Has anyone used the digital hourmeter from northern tool? Any other good places to buy?

Ihave used a digital meter made by Sen dec . I have one on my oldest proline 6 years and 1500 hours later it still works good.

I get them from my dealer for around $40

Go get the Tiny Tach. Simple and affordable. Mine cost $40.

I agree with deason about the tiny tach. They work great and are inexpensive. It gives you an hour meter when the mower is not running and a tach when it is running.

One more vote for Tiny Tach. They hold up well in the rain too.

You can e-mail tiny tach and ask them which model you will need based on that mower's engine but I would bet it would be the 2CR or the 2NCR. But ask them to be sure.
