This sounds like a dumb question but I got a new trailer at the end of last season and have not put the rack on yet. I had the rack on the right side like just about everyone I see. I always try to park on the opposite side of the road of the house to edge better. I figured it makes more sense to put the rack on the left side since its closer to the yard. Sooo my question is which side do you think it should go on? Any reasons to put on either side greatly appreciated.

i don't even use a rack...i just put the trimmers in the bed of my truck and tie them in place with bungee cords so they don't slide around lol

I just let them sit on my trailer until one of my mowers slid into one of the trimmers and broke the airfilter cover off. Fun Times....

lol...nothing in the bed of my truck except one trimmer and one handheld blower...a gas can and a cooler...all tied down so none of them move lol...i see you have 3 trimmers though so i guess you need a rack...i've seen them put on both sides of trailers....it's up to you...do whatever you want to do...you don't have to be like everyone else or do what "they" do....go your own way...start a new trend lol

As a solo opp I used the drivers side for a long time, Works a little more conviently I thought... Drawback is having the trimmers on the road side. Put your flame suit on, with your statment about usually parking on the wrong side of the road, there's some "perfect" people on here that will point out that it's ILLEGAL and they surely would never do such a thing. haha.

I switched my trimmer racks to the passenger side of the trailer some years back and think it does work out a little better for me. Especially if you have a helper that's doing the trimming, they are right there on their side!

Basically I suppose it's personal preference. The passenger side is probably the more sensible location though.

It is personal preference, front or side.
I have mine on the right side(curb side)I always park on the right side. You don't want to draw any more attention than you need from Mr policeman.
I also have one on the front for my long hedge trimmers.
