    I don't really recall when it started, but the right side just would not keep up with the left. The hydro belt is probably a year old and appears to be in good shape. The tensioner was replaced at the same time with the updated tensioner. The filter was changed in may.

    Anyway, I can turn the tracking adjustment knob on the right side and pick up forward speed to match the left. But by doing so I lose most of the right side reverse speed.

    Start with the easy things first;

    Check tire pressure and diameter, I have seen tires the cord had separated in causing them to expand.

    Make sure this up-dated belt tensioner is not hanging up and there is proper tension on the belt.

    Check all hydro hose/line fittings for tightness, One could be sucking air but not be bad enough to leak.

    Check for any worn/loose linkage/joints in the controls, Make sure the activation lever on the pump is not loose/slipping on the pump shaft.

    Thanks for the tips. After I got past the basics I ended up at the linkage itself, as you said. It seemed to be mostly that the set screw than holds the linkage to the pump was not tight. Once it was tightened (probably less than 3/4 turn) the slop went away and response was back. I readjusted the linkage and it seems to be pretty close to 100% right going forward and only slightly off in reverse.

    I really appreciate your advice.
