Whether the BR600 or the 8000 is the more powerful blower

    it is hard to say...but, I do know that from here on out, it can only get better for Stihl in the blower arena...if they come out with a more powerful blower than the 600...goodness!

    It is a nice machine, i hope it doesn't get the same recall that the 550's had with the cracking housing/dampers coming off

    The Redmax 8000 has 943 CFM without the tubes. They don't give the CFM with the tubes. The BR 600 has 1012 CFM without the tubes. 712 CFM with them. You tell me.

    Redmax manual states 688 average cfm up to 203mph with std. pipes

    but it's what works best for you in the long run
