Any advice on which extention pole trimmer to buy?
Shindaiwa multi tool add the tree pruner and can add 4 or 5 other attachments. Easy to store and snap in articulate hedge trimmer, edger Shindaiwas are tough will last forever. Have been runnin mine 2 years and hasnt been in the shop once.
we use john deere works great. i heard solo has one that you can buy extensions to add to the length.
Thanks for the ideas. This is such a great resource for me! Happy gardening!
jamison .one clipper head one saw head ,three poles extra blades.
All depends, is this a main line of work for you?
Because for myself, I do get the odd tree branch needs cutting off but I use a hand pole saw, I think I paid $10 for mine...
They do sell a better quality for $20-$30 but for the 3-4 times a year I use mine it's plenty good.
Now if you plan on using it a lot more, then get a gas-driven one yes.
Thanks for the info. I basically need the trimmer for a few spring clean-up contracts that I have. I only am contracted to trim low branches but it is hard to look at a tree that has a crossing or poorly placed branch and ignore it.
